Harry Hearing`s new EP on Coffee Bay Recordings is a beautiful but dark chillout and downtempo trip. „Sophisticated, strange and different world“ opens the „The sophisticated island EP“ with nearly ten minutes of hypnotic and melodical sounds and voices. „Lost island“ creates a darker atmosphere than the opener with its great spectrum of sounds and effects.
„I hear the sirens sing“ is the darkest track of the EP and puts the listener in the position of a lonesome captain on an old steamer hearing the horrible voices of sirens making him navigate his ship in the cliffs.
All in all Harry Hearing delivers a very atmospheric follow-up to his track „Chapman`s Peak“ which has been featured on the compilation „No Borders: South Africa“.
